2. A painted door
The color of your door is thought to determine good luck. According to feng shui, south-facing doors should be painted red or orange, north-facing doors should be blue or black, west-facing doors are best in gray or white, and east-facing doors will be lucky in brown or green.

3. Furniture arrangement
Some believe that arranging your living furniture in a circular formation will help the flow of energy. There's also the belief that good energy will come if you place your bed diagonally from the bedroom door.

4. Horseshoes
Many cultures adhere to the idea that a horseshoe above the door will bring good fortune. There's a difference of opinion on which way it should point. Some believe that by pointing upward will ensure that luck doesn't run out, while others think that facing it downward will make fortune "fall" on whomever goes through the doorway.
