14 Seriously Gorgeous Campers
Nautical Escape
This 1972 21-foot Airstream Globetrotter Land Yacht designed by Charity D’Amato is an airy and refined space filled with nautical details. Sleek, boat-like white enamel meets a wavy-patterned wallpaper to create a feeling of being on the high seas, while a life preserver serves as a throw pillow and a porthole-style window allows light into the bathroom.

Rustic Chic Trailer
Part of the Cowgirl Caravan, this darling little trailer carries women on outdoor adventures organized by Sisters on the Fly. Its upcycled orange chandelier, kitschy pillows, and faux animal head surround a diner-style table flanked by banquettes covered in fake leather and pink-and-white zebra print.

Playful and Quirky Airstream
At the Grand Daddy Airstream Rooftop Trailer Park in Cape Town, South Africa, Dorothy is one of the Airstreams available to rent for the night. Designed by artist Sarah Pratt, the camper’s interior is completely covered in robin's egg blue with large white polka dots. Some of the dots are three-dimensional and hinged to hold rotating mini-exhibitions of items.

Chic and Girlie Trailer
Tiffany Kirchner Dixon of The Fancy Farmgirl gave this 55-year-old trailer an extreme makeover, complete with exterior and interior paint jobs, new lighting, new door knobs and hardware, and plenty of accessories. The resulting space is chic and girlie with paper lanterns hung from the ceiling and a faux fur rug on the floor. Though Tiffany splurged on retro-modern light fixtures, the luxe-looking banquette is covered in white faux ostrich, and pillows and tabletop accessories were purchased at budget-friendly big box stores. Plus, many items inside are still original, including the darling enamel icebox, the 1950s grey speckled flooring, and gorgeous aqua counter tops.

Map-Covered Camper
Maps make a fitting wallpaper option for a travel trailer, like in this one from Mitsi — just be sure not to use a route you'll need on your next trip! Bright floral curtains and a red bench add a colorful and cheerful vibe.

Contemporary Airstream
Landscape architect Andreas Stavropoulos chose a light palette with few splashes of color to keep the space in this 1959 Airstream open and contemporary. He stripped the paint to reveal the beautiful riveting and aluminum, honoring the original craftsmanship that went into making this trailer. Cork flooring, track lighting, and custom-designed cabinets and furniture fit the sinuous interior.

Mid-Century Modern Glamper
With cool grays, soft yellows, and clean lines, this vintage camper has a mid-century mod vibe thanks to a remodel by Meisedy at The Noshery. The bright and cheery space features newly painted cabinets, fresh upholstery on the benches, and a new laminate wood floor.

Sleek and Chic Airstream
This luxe 25-foot Airstream International was decked out by Courtney Trent of Good Cottage, which rents out trailers for New York actors and directors to use on set. She removed the old sofa and installed a new one the width of a single bed and eight feet long, creating comfortable seating that can also be used for sleeping. A succulent garden is just inside the window behind the sofa, covering a bulky electronic box.

Hollywood Regency Camper
This 1960 Aristocrat LoLiner became a glam space fit for a movie star after a massive renovation by photographer Michelle Sullivan. Silver gray pairs with white in the diamond-pattern vinyl flooring, the shimmering wallpaper, and the geometric slipcovers, while pops of orange and pink take center stage in the fun curtains and throw pillows.
Modern Airstream
Ida Gleaton of The Urban Cottage Dallas hand-stenciled the insides of this 1975 Airstream with a bold yellow and gray pattern for major impact. Beadboard wallpaper, molding, and trim give it a finished feel, while wood-grain laminate flooring and crisp white banquettes amp up the luxe look.

DIY Masterpiece
This 15-foot 1974 Rancho El Rae trailer named Dazey features a backdrop of retro turquoise walls behind an eclectic mix of colorful stripes, chevron, floral, ticking, and polka dots on pillows, curtains, bunting, and slipcovers. A true DIY masterpiece, owner Rhonna Farrer of Rhonna Designs made the no-sew ruffled decorative pillows and curtains, and the yellow and turquoise yarn-wrapped wreath. An Ikea chandelier was modified to clip on to the existing light fixture and can be easily removed when the trailer is on the move. The table, covered in a vintage tablecloth and set with a cute teapot and Melmac dishware from a vintage picnic basket, flips down to sleep one.
Charming Spartanette
This 23-foot 1950 Spartanette trailer, filled with a mix of vintage finds, handmade creations, and carefully curated furnishings, is home on the road for Joy Prouty’s family of six. An old typewriter table with drop-down sides serves as the kids’ homeschooling desk as well as the family dinner table when pulled away from the wall. Vintage school lockers house quilts and linens, and the sofa opens flat into a bed for the kids. Mom and Dad nest in a doily-filled master bedroom.

Crafty Camper
Billed as an "ice cream truck for adults," Pennsylvania-based blogger Denise Sabia of The Painted Home is the woman behind The Crafty Camper, a mobile craft workshop and DIY market neatly packaged in a 1972 Shasta camper. Inside and out, the camper showcases her DIY lifestyle, featuring oil-cloth flag valances and a DIY sink crafted out of a shipping pallet, a donated white Corian countertop, and a $7 aluminum bucket from Home Depot. Vintage suitcases under the sink store crafting supplies.

Homey Haven
Owner Renata DeWees of There’s No Place Like Homemade restored the original wood veneer in this cheery 1967 Yellowstone trailer to keep its authentic look. A turquoise polka-dotted slipcover on the cushions matches the retro stove, cooktop, and fan, while a sweet DIY pennant banner and throw pillows give the vintage trailer a homey feel.
