If you're decor nerds like us, you may have seen Calling It Home's One Room Challenge floating around the blogosphere. In this six-week project, designers and bloggers choose a space to makeover and commit to weekly posts with progress updates and photos. Melissa, the creative genius behind A Prudent Life, was one of over 110 DIYers to take on the challenge — and it's safe to say she knocked this one out of the park.

Her walk-in pantry is more of a kitchenette, so there was tons of untapped potential. And the end result is a chic, vintage-meets-modern space with an organization system that's so beautiful we could cry.

Clear storage containers with uniform labeling let Melissa know when it's time to restock the family's favorite snacks. And those glam white and gold bins holding her crackers and bread? They're spray-painted dollar store finds!

But our favorite element of this makeover has to be the chalkboard wall. Melissa let her husband take the reins on this part of the project, and he really went above and beyond. What started as just a butcher pig drawing ended up including lovely personal touches like their wedding year and a favorite scripture quote.
